$6 million contract for a Central Asian Border Protection Agency

Barrett Communications, an international communications company specialising in the design and manufacture of HF and VHF communications solutions, has been awarded a $6 million contract to supply HF communications equipment in various configurations to a Border Security Agency in Central Asia as part of the United States Assistance program.

The equipment being supplied provides the user secure long range voice and data communications without the need for existing infrastructure. The supply of multiple configurations, PRC-2090 Tactical HF Manpack, PRC-2091 Tactical HF Mobile and PRC-2092 Tactical HF Base Station, delivers proven field deployable HF communications with unparalleled value.
