Barrett Training 2002
Barrett Training 2002.
Barrett have long realised that designing and building state of the art, reliable HF Communications systems has to be a key focus in our company.
As parallel communications systems become ever more complex and costly to run, Barrett have developed simple to use operator interfaces to enable our clients to use High Frequency (HF) radio as a primary means of communications, not only in radio voice mode, but also in email and fax over radio, and telephone interconnect systems to access Barrett radio networks throughout the world. GPS tracking for vehicle location and personnel safety is also a prominent product. Every effort is made at the design stage to ensure simplicity of installation, commissioning and use, but to ensure that our clients get maximum use from their investment, Barrett have significantly expanded their customer support and training division over the past two years. This enables us to offer comprehensive on site and factory training modules designed to “train the trainers” or to offer assistance in designing a system, or simply train the operators.
Full technical training is also available, including installation and maintenance packages. With trainers based in Australia, UK and the USA we are able to cover the world easily and recent training has been carried out in the US, South America, Central, North and South Africa, Europe, Central and East Asia, including factory training in both the UK and Perth, Western Australia. The 923 system was comprehensively installed in many major centres throughout the region, replacing costly to run satellite systems. Use of data projection and hands on techniques allows students to get first hand experience of using and configuring our systems to best suit their mode of operation.
“Training is a key factor in our clients getting maximum benefit from their investments” says Phil Bradshaw, Managing Director of Barrett Communications, “and Barrett’s commitment to training and customer support will ensure that our clients have direct access to our 27 years experience in HF communications.”
