We are pleased to announce the appointment of Joe Mauro as a Business Development Manager with Barrett USA LLC as of 1st October 2013. Joe’s primary role is to look after and develop Barrett Communications’ markets throughout North America, including the management of US Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Programmes, cooperation and teaming with US Prime Contractors and supporting Barretts’ North American distributor network.
Joe has more than 12 years business development and sales experience in the radio communication market and a US Navy tactical communications background. Joe has a proven track record of business development working predominantly with the US Government including the US Coast Guard, US Navy, and numerous large FMS programs focused predominately in Central Asia and Africa. Joe retired from the US Navy as a Commander, where he specialised in tactical operations with Coastal Warfare Command. His experience, knowledge and understanding of end users’ operational theatre gives him direct insight into the military and security operators’ needs and perspective.
We believe Joe’s experience and knowledge will make him a valued member of Barrett Communications’ business development team.
