Barrett supplies HF transceivers to East Africa’s Police Forces

Perth, Western Australia, September 20, 2013 – Barrett Communications is pleased to announce a three (3) year sole source contract to supply up to 750 HF transceivers to one of East Africa’s largest Police Forces.

Since 1998, Barrett Communications has been working with their local partners supplying HF communications solutions to the Police Force, who are actively involved in local policing, election security, border security and anti-terrorism operations. Barrett has been one of a number of suppliers to the Police Force in recent years. In recognition of the intuitive use of the Barrett solutions, extensive local technical and training support and the 3 year warranty; a three (3) year sole source contract has been awarded.

The contract includes multiple configurations of the Barrett HF solutions including; Barrett 2050 HF base station, Barrett 2050 HF mobile stations and Barrett 2090 HF Manpacks with the option to procure Barrett 2020 email, fax and data, GPS tracking and encryption systems.
